Spravato is a nasal spray formulation of esketamine, an NMDA receptor antagonist, approved by the FDA to treat depression. It is used alongside an oral antidepressant for patients who have not responded adequately to at least two antidepressant treatments.

SPRAVATO® is a prescription medicine, used along with an antidepressant, taken by mouth to treat:
- Adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD)
- Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions
